At this moment I’m studying PLASTIC arts, and this year the study progamme change a lot, and even the name has change to VISUAL arts, and in a general view they are very different. This new study plan has another vision they cover multiples techniques (engraving, sculpture, painting, etc) in one year they have many things, and how I get this is a sort of journey in multiples areas of visual arts, in the plan I’m actually coursing is something like a specialization, we take an specific area for three years and we graduate with a specialization in the paper. This career take five years along, and I think is just too little, the new plan is even more short four years, and If I can change the study programme this is the first thing on my list, I would add two years or even three because the last one is for thesis (and probably more things related). At the first place I wanted to talk about recycling because I like it, I try this always when I’m gardening, reduce our garbage it’s an important habit, but I’m going to talk about cloning . I do not know too much about this topic, I have read a few articles, but I do not get the whole thing. I think it’s a very interesting area in science, I believe It can be very helpful, but it depends on what would be focus, and the people who carry the project and how they don’t turn us into a Sci-fi and dystopic world. It’s complicated to talk about something like this, it has so many points of view, because if   we talked about cloning humans (the reproductive cloning) it’s kinda weird, because we don’t know what can be mean. I remembered something about Dolly the sheep and how this end, and I know that the years past and this method probably was change, but in any case, sounds horrible, because What is their final objective?  I don’t have an exactly type of job, I would love to work in something relative about visual/plastic arts, some days I think to working in some school in the south of the country as a teacher of visual arts could be nice, other options  it could be work in some audiovisual projects maybe in a videogames, in movies or in an animated series. Another thing that could be nice it is the opportunity of work on this jobs in another country, like a dream if I can choose animation work in some big industry (for a little time) like the department of Disney or cartoon network, because childhood. I think in the most of them are jobs in desk/indoors, but I wish that I could travelled in one of those jobs probably making some studies about sceneries, about culture, people, create some character design or concept art. A really amazing animation serie that I have to recommend it’s Avatar the last airbender, I think is a popular serie, even more this days because it is upload in Netflix, but maybe   I’m wrong. Everything in that are serie I’ts really good, the soundtrack, the plot, the developing character, the universe. It was aired on nickelodeon in 2005 till 2008, it was created by Michael Dante DiMartino y Bryan Konietzko, with Aaron Ehasz as a head writer, it was directed by   Giancarlo Volpe, Ethan Spaulding, Lauren MacMullan, Dave Filoni, Joaquim Dos Santos along the seasons. This Holiday took place in the South of the country, in the last year, it was my first time visiting Traiguén one of my friends received us in her house for a hole week. I’m very thankfully with her, and also their family were so sweet with us, we were six in her house they have so much patience and love.  The day we arrived in the town most of the group sleep till one or three pm, the rest of us had taken a little travel. The next days we visited and cover several places, much of it were rivers and lakes, it was amazing. Something funny (but no that day) we did in that week, it when we went to the cementer in the night, it was funny all the route, the sky clear and all of those stars were beautiful, but when we get there the mood change dramatically, I retracted in the entrance, I have been so afraid   in that moment and all felt worried about me and well … we all return to the house and they never let me forget that part (I don’t blame them I was a coward).    If I  have to choose one it could be a dream visit Japan (what a surprise haha), two of their principal religions are the Shinto and Buddhism which have multiples temples around the country, the principal characteristic about them it’s the connection with nature, the principals are typically surrounded by beautiful environment with a lot of plants and beautiful huge sculptures & structures. Hanasono Inari shrine.   Some random fact; an artistic movement that appears in the early years of the 17 th century named Ukiyo-e which principal technic was the xylography  have a lot of importance for their art history, cause it was part of the firsts steps in the manga, and although has a big influence in the occident. This art used to have a high influence by these religions, and somehow persist in the present. Some days I think this, but not like literally someone else, I think this more like  beeing me, but with another personality, not shy, not a insecurity perdón, a person who have a better forma to see herself. I don't know a person who could have a life that I could enjoy.  Everyone has their own problems, I know my problems, and that's could be reason for preffer my identity over others.  If I could be someone else, I prefer to live in another site, like the south of Chile, in a site with peace, near to the nature. I would have a garden with many flowers, and many fruit trees, and I probably hace many chickens too. In my mind, I imagine me painting every day, and feeling happy.

I don't have a determinated subject that I have enjoyed to learn this term, because this year I begin my specialty and I take digital image, the first one was very comforting for me, due to the last year I have some classes that I used to make me feel stressed.  In this classes I start to use a camera and also more frequently Photoshop (that's make me be aware of other tools, that I don't have the idea in that point) , and the other hand I learn how to make a better composition. Besides other thing I learn how to make a dyptich.  It is posibble that I regret the thing I write in the first words, because this semester I discover how to use a little more a camera (more than use one button, and the mode automatic). I don't tend to use a camera like a real one,  I use my cellphone (I love him, because it have a mode named pro, what have the some usefull configurations like I traditional digital camera). I met some sites that could help me the last year, but I don’t know almost none site,  and the few I know,  I don’t have the habit of visit them regularly. I have to work more on that, because I could learn and become aware of other artists, know their works. The few sites I visited someday it was the page of the MoMA, who post regularly the works on exhibition. Another site that I consider interesting is the site that google have for  upload records the pieces of art (in a very high quality), and submit various articles, the Google Arts & Culture. Steven Universe It's an animated TV show of US broadcast by Cartoon Network since 2013; it was created by Rebecca Sugar. The story relates the adventures of a teenager named Steven and his companion’s aliens (and practically moms); Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl, who are part of an ancient group of resistance, The Crystal Gems who promised to protect the life on the earth, and actually have to deal with anything what want to prevent the peace on the planet. The species of the aliens are based on minerals, what in their planet have hierarchies, in the top are the diamonds, and the lower part of the society are the soldiers who the most of them are Quartz. This is a screenshot of a post did by an artist that I used to admire, said in a way, because in these days I continue like her art. I choose this picture because on the left are a draw that I gifted her. I think that action was uncanny for me. This picture was taken in 2015. The day that I give her this draw I felt very nervous, a friend give me the courage to give her that. When she post the image, I used to use Facebook, that’s meant I was probably see some random posts, until I found the post, I felt very happy, and astonished,   I don’t expected that. In my leisure time, I'm used to drawing on my tablet (the digital form that I mentioned on another entry), and playing videogames. My favorite ones are TLOZ and Pokémon, but these games always make me spend a lot of time time that I didn't have. So I can't play as much as I would like to. Read or see anime it's another option I do for pass the time. I like this medium because i don't waste money or materials on this proyects, another reason it's for the colors present only on the digital devices.My parents gifted me my first tablet in 2013, that was the “begining”, that i wish have to say, but this media took me long time to get familiarized with it. The time I spend on make a drawing or a paint in digitally, it's always different, 'cause depends on how clearly is the idea I have, or the things I add on it. I agree with the teacher in the fact of any device that can link up with internet it's very helpful. I do not remember the age in which I joined in internet, but I presume that was when I had 7 years old, and when I had an access to a computer it`s maybe around when I was 5 years old, through the computer of my brother. I usually use internet to make many things, for free, for example read, play videogames, watch videos and movies, listen to music, etcetera. I believe in this is the part I really like of internet, the power of having access to many things, in short time and without doing almost nothing. I use it continually, especially through my phone, the tool that I consider most helpful and what makes my life easier. If this world wouldn't  have internet it will be very different, I do not know if  many of things we have today will be there without internet, because almost anything work with that. When i was a child i been obsessed with dinosaurs and that make me wish become a palaeontologist, that was the first option in that days, a second option it could have been veterinarian, I don't remember more options. But I remember clearly how much I loved to draw and see animations, but it wasn't an option of study. A part of my life My name is Armonía I was born in Santiago on July 7 of 1999. My family is composed by four people; Patricia, Juan and my brother Felipe. I studied my whole life in only one school the “Laura Vicuña”, and the last three years I went to an art school (extracurricularly), in the “Liceo Experimental Artístico Barroso”, otherwise known as LEA, in which I met very good people who motivated me to studying art. Currently I’m a student of plastic arts in the “Universidad de Chile”, I’m specializing in painting. I recently realized in which I love painting blue things, that’s why the name of the blog, It because for the two colors I always need in my life.
